Dimraeth Switch: Nintendo Release Status

On this page
  1. What the official platform answer says
  2. Steam Deck support does not mean Switch support
  3. The patch-note console is a host tool
  4. No confirmed Nintendo date or specification

A Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 edition of Dimraeth is not confirmed as of October 9, 2026. The released product is the Windows PC game on Steam. The developer FAQ says console plans are unconfirmed and identifies PC as the initial focus.

If you need a native Nintendo edition, wait for an explicit platform announcement. An unconfirmed port is neither a cancelled product nor a promise of a release after Early Access.

What the official platform answer says

The FAQ identifies PC through Steam and Steam Deck support, while the current Steam listing provides Windows requirements. The FAQ contains some wording from before the PC launch; use Steam's released product status for current PC availability. Neither source establishes a Nintendo edition.

Official FAQ identifying PC and Steam Deck and stating no confirmed console plans

The FAQ uses pre-launch wording; the current Steam listing confirms the released PC edition.

A Nintendo announcement should identify the hardware and edition directly. A trailer on a general gaming channel or a controller used in PC footage cannot establish where the game is sold.

Steam Deck support does not mean Switch support

Steam Deck is a handheld PC platform, with the current Steam compatibility label marked Playable. It is distinct from Nintendo hardware and does not establish a Switch purchase, cross-buy entitlement, or transferable Nintendo license.

Likewise, PlayStation or Xbox controller support on a PC is an input feature rather than a port announcement. Buying the Steam product buys access to that product.

The patch-note console is a host tool

The September 25 note describes work on a console for host action logs and server-ban decisions. That is an administrative interface for multiplayer sessions. It does not announce Switch, Switch 2, or a console hardware edition.

No confirmed Nintendo date or specification

The developer's approximate eighteen-to-twenty-four-month Early Access estimate has no fixed exit date and supplies no Nintendo schedule. The available information also establishes no Switch resolution, frame rate, download size, local multiplayer, cross-play, or save-transfer arrangement.

Use an explicit developer announcement and an official platform listing before making a Nintendo purchase decision. If you also play on PC, the download and buying-review guides cover the product currently offered.
