The Dimraeth pet system opens through Myrll at the Sanctum, but recruiting her does not unlock every companion automatically. The clearest reproducible Early Access route is to recruit Myrll, repair the broken bridge through story progress, enter the Beast-Occupied Ruins, defeat the Alpha Wolf, collect the pet unlock at the encounter, and return to Myrll's companion trade. The Fangra Cub should then be available to acquire. After it enters your inventory, equip it from the relevant companion slot rather than searching for a second combat quest.
Nine pets are documented for the Early Access roster, and Mudtek described them as unique companions with different abilities. Mudtek has not published a complete table of every pet name, stat, skill, or exact map coordinate. Treat specific ability lists and location maps as version-sensitive player findings, not permanent rules. This guide therefore gives one supported unlock route, the operating sequence that follows it, and a diagnosis for the common cases where the unlock message appears but no pet seems usable.
Dimraeth pet unlock sequence
The pet system has two gates. The first gate is the companion service itself; the second is the condition attached to an individual animal. Mixing those gates together is the main reason the interface can feel as if it lost an unlock.
- Continue the story until you meet Myrll.
- Finish the request connected to her and invite her to the Sanctum.
- Confirm that Myrll is present and that her companion-related trade or service can be opened.
- Continue the main route until the broken bridge is repaired.
- Reach the Beast-Occupied Ruins in the second broad area of the recorded route.
- Defeat the Alpha Wolf and clear the rest of the encounter rather than leaving as soon as the boss falls.
- Interact with the visible unlock left at the fight; the recorded run describes it as a pink-purple sphere.
- Return to Myrll and inspect her companion trade for the Fangra Cub.
- Acquire the pet, verify that it entered the inventory, and equip it in the companion interface.
This chain is narrower than an all-pet checklist, but it is useful because each transition can be checked. An ordinary wolf is not a substitute for the Alpha Wolf encounter in the reproduced run. Likewise, seeing an unlock notice is not the same as already owning and equipping the pet. The notice marks the encounter gate; Myrll's service completes the acquisition step.
The broken bridge is an important progress boundary in that run. If Myrll is already settled at the Sanctum but the Beast-Occupied Ruins are not reachable, return to the main route instead of farming wolves. The Dimraeth walkthrough separates the campaign path from repeatable and side activities, while the Dimraeth map guide explains how to use region and travel clues without inventing an exact pin.

Use the video map as route orientation for the Beast-Occupied Ruins encounter, not as a permanent coordinate for every patch.
Myrll and the companion service
Myrll is not merely a name attached to the pet menu. The documented route treats her recruitment as the system-level prerequisite. You meet her through progression, complete the request associated with her, and invite her to the Sanctum. Only then does it make sense to diagnose an individual pet unlock at her service.
When you return after an encounter, exhaust the relevant dialogue and open the trade or companion option. Do not assume the animal will appear beside your character the moment the fight ends. The recorded process includes a return to Myrll, an acquisition through her interface, an inventory step, and then equipping the companion.
That sequence also explains why a player can truthfully report both “new pet unlocked” and “I cannot find my pet.” The unlock may have added an option to Myrll rather than a fully equipped follower. Check the service before repeating the boss, and check the inventory before looking for a missing building recipe.
The material uses both “Pet Pen” and “enclosure” language, but it does not establish a reliable, standalone blueprint route for a pen. One recorded player could not find such an entry in the building section. Another recorded playthrough shows a pet-pen interaction connected to the base. Because the evidence does not reconcile those states, this page does not invent a recipe or claim that every character must manually place a pen before acquiring a pet. Use Myrll's service and the companion interface as the supported checks first.
Fangra Cub route at the Beast-Occupied Ruins
The Fangra Cub route is the best-supported example of how an individual Dimraeth pet unlock works. The Alpha Wolf is encountered in the Beast-Occupied Ruins after the broken bridge stage. The documented gameplay places the encounter beyond the opening area and explicitly distinguishes it from ordinary wolves.
Prepare for the whole group, not just the named enemy. The guide's instruction is to defeat all enemies in the encounter, then inspect the arena for the unlock object. That matters because sprinting away after the health bar disappears can skip the interaction that changes the pet state.

After the Alpha Wolf encounter, look for the pink-purple unlock object near the defeated group before leaving the arena.
Once the object has been collected, return to the Sanctum. Open Myrll's companion trade and look for the Fangra Cub. If it is listed, acquire it and then inspect the inventory. The run shows the pet being bought, entering the inventory, and being equipped. Keep those actions separate when troubleshooting: encounter completion, unlock interaction, Myrll availability, acquisition, and equipment are five different states.

The pet item and Myrll are visible together here, illustrating the separate acquisition and inventory checks after an encounter unlock.
The evidence does not give a fixed price, a guaranteed level, or a complete boss preparation list. Those omissions are deliberate here. Currency, balance, and encounter tuning can change during Early Access, and the available text is not strong enough to publish a number. Use the value displayed in your current Myrll interface.
Pet roster and ability limits
The supported roster count is nine unique pets. Mudtek's Early Access feature description says those pets have different abilities. That confirms mechanical variety, but it does not establish a stable public stat sheet.
One player route names a Carrion Parrot and a Silver Cat while pointing at locations on a video map. The transcript alone does not preserve usable coordinates or landmarks for either route, so converting it into written directions would be guesswork. The same limitation applies to a full nine-location table: a spoken “right here” tied to an unseen cursor is not enough evidence for a text map.
The Fangra Cub guide and other player material attribute combat effects, item transport, and differing stats to companions. Those observations are helpful for deciding what to inspect in the game, but they are not a complete developer-authored ability database. Verify the current description in the companion interface before building around a pet's damage type or status effect.
A practical selection method is to read the pet's displayed contribution beside the build you actually use. If the effect reinforces a damage type, resource need, or status you already produce, test it in ordinary combat. If it conflicts with the build, keep the animal available and compare another companion. This is a build-selection method, not a claim that one pet is universally best.
The Dimraeth build overview helps identify what your character is trying to scale. Use that information to evaluate a pet instead of copying a tier list whose underlying numbers are not preserved in the evidence.
Equipping, switching, and storing a companion
After a pet is acquired, confirm that it is in the character's inventory and use the companion equipment flow. The documented Fangra route explicitly separates buying from equipping. If the companion is owned but absent in the world, reopen the inventory and look for the equipped pet state before revisiting the boss.
The same material shows an option to switch pets and leave one in the enclosure connected to Myrll. That supports a roster model: owning more than one pet does not mean every pet follows at once. The active choice and the pets left behind are separate.
Do not use a training dummy as the only test of whether a pet works. A recorded build demonstration notes that its pet did not act against the wooden dummy even though the pet was used for status support in combat. A passive companion at that target is therefore not enough to prove that the equip state failed. Test in a safe field encounter and compare the pet's interface state before repeating the acquisition chain.
Item transport is also reported in the player material. Because the transcript does not document every restriction, treat it as a feature to verify in the current interface rather than a promise that any item can be sent from any situation. If the transport control is absent, check whether the pet is actively equipped, whether Myrll's service is fully open, and whether the current game state permits the action.
Companion troubleshooting by symptom
| Symptom | Supported first check | Unsupported shortcut to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Myrll is not at the Sanctum | Finish her request and invitation sequence | Searching for a pet recipe before recruiting the service NPC |
| Myrll is present but Fangra Cub is absent | Confirm broken-bridge progress, Beast-Occupied Ruins, Alpha Wolf clear, and arena unlock interaction | Farming ordinary wolves and assuming they share the unlock |
| “New pet unlocked” appeared but no follower arrived | Return to Myrll, inspect companion trade, acquire the pet, then check inventory | Treating the notice as automatic equipment |
| Pet is owned but not following | Inspect the active companion slot and equip state | Repeating the boss immediately |
| A Pet Pen is mentioned but no blueprint appears | Check Myrll's companion controls and current Sanctum service state | Inventing a material recipe from an unrelated base item |
| Pet ignores the training dummy | Test the equipped companion in normal combat | Concluding that the pet is broken from dummy behaviour alone |
| Another guide assigns precise stats | Read the current in-game pet description | Building around an unverified, versionless number |
Work down the table in order. These checks are intentionally state-based: they tell you which transition might be missing. They do not require a speculative reset, a new world, or another character.
If the encounter and acquisition states are complete but the pet remains unavailable, preserve the details before reporting it: current game version, whether the world is solo or hosted, Myrll's current dialogue and service options, the exact unlock notice, and what appears in inventory. That is more useful than saying only that the pet disappeared.
A safe route for collecting more pets
The available documentation supports nine pets but not nine reliable written routes. Use the known Fangra chain as a model for evaluating another discovery.
First, distinguish a location sighting from an actual unlock. A pet-shaped object on the map, a boss arena, and an unlock notice are different kinds of evidence. Clear the local condition and look for an interaction before returning to the Sanctum.
Second, check Myrll after each credible unlock rather than batching several uncertain sightings. That creates a clean before-and-after comparison. If a new option appears, acquire and equip it before continuing. If nothing changes, you know which encounter needs another look.
Third, record landmarks visible in your own map. The all-pet video uses its cursor to communicate locations, while the transcript loses those visual references. A region name, nearby waygate, route boundary, and encounter name are more useful than a direction such as “over here.”
Finally, compare the current pet description with your build. Companions have different abilities, so collection and selection solve different problems. Unlocking all nine is a completion goal; choosing one that supports the next fight is a progression decision.
Early Access evidence boundary
The system-level count and Fangra route are supported, while a full pet database is not. Mudtek confirms nine unique pets with different abilities. A recorded player route demonstrates recruitment through Myrll, the Alpha Wolf unlock, returning to trade, inventory acquisition, and equipping. Community reports independently show that the unlock notice can precede the player's ability to find the pet.
What remains unverified is equally important: a complete studio-published name list, exact coordinates for all nine pets, stable per-pet statistics, universal prices, and a dependable Pet Pen construction recipe. Those gaps should not be filled with plausible-sounding numbers.
For the next supported progression system, use the Dimraeth Deeds unlock guide. For an acquisition system with similarly separate discovery, crafting, learning, and equipment stages, see the Dimraeth spellbook locations guide.
